What BMMS does
The software is organised around the work of a meeting. Each group below follows the order in which the work happens.
Plan meetings
- Set up committees and their members, with member types such as chairman, in attendance and special invitee.
- Create meetings with a venue, a date and an agenda submission date. The software checks that the dates make sense.
- Send the notice of a meeting to the members by mail, or create it as a PDF.

Collect and approve the agenda
- Users enter agenda items with a subject type, department, text, proposed resolution and attachments.
- Each item goes to the manager and then to the controller. Where a user has no manager step, the item goes straight to the controller.
- Approve or reject from the Dashboard. The people concerned are alerted and mailed.
- Finalise the agenda for the meeting. After that, items cannot be changed by users or managers; a controller may add late items while the minutes are still open, if the administrator allows it.

Record attendance
- Record the chairman and the members present.
- Only members whose appointment covers the meeting date appear for that meeting.
Write, finalise and confirm the minutes
- Record the decision, short text and resolution for each agenda item.
- Finalise the minutes once every item has been saved. Confirm them to lock them.
- The order is fixed: agenda finalised, attendance recorded, minutes written, minutes finalised, minutes confirmed.
